Virtual Transit Center is bringing back photo of the month instead of featured photos. The photo of the month will be chosen based on community interest as well as a vote. This photo of SEPTA‘s brand new 2024 New Flyer “Xcelsior CHARGE H2” XHE40 #701 was selected, as it represents the beginning of SEPTA’s massive transition to a Zero Emissions Bus (ZEB) fleet by 2040. For SEPTA enthusiasts this represents a big change as last month SEPTA retired their last 100% diesel forty-foot bus.
