Pottstown Area Rapid Transit, or PART for short, is the primary transit operator of Pottstown, PA. PART is also the only other transit agency other than SEPTA which operates in Montgomery County, PA.
Routes and Services
PART Operates 5 routes, all labeled by color, and all of which operate to the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center in downtown Pottstown, PA.
- Blue Line probably the most used of all the lines, the Blue Line operates from downtown Pottstown to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Sanatoga Village Shopping Center, and Philadelphia Premium Outlets. SEPTA Route 93 connects with this line on both ends. This line has buses departing from the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center hourly from 6:30am to 9:30pm
- Green Line is a circulator line that operates via Upland Square, West High Street, Downtown Pottstown, and Conventree Mall. This line has buses departing from the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center hourly from 8am to 5pm
- Orange Line is a circulator which operates very similarly to the Green Line in serving via Upland Square, Downtown Pottstown, and Conventree Mall. However, unlike the Green Line, the Orange line also serves Valley View Apartments and Town Square Center. This line has buses departing from the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center bi-hourly from 6am to 4pm (even number hours only).
- Purple Line operates from downtown Pottstown to Hanover Court Apartments, North End Redners, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, and Sanatoga Village Shopping Center. This line has buses departing from the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center hourly from 6am to 9pm
- Yellow Line operates from Downtown Pottstown to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, North End Redners, and Pottstown YMCA. This line has buses departing from the Charles Dickerson Transportation Center hourly from 8am to 5pm
ALL PART bus routes connect with SEPTA route 93 in downtown Pottstown.
Bus Fleet Roster
PART’s bus fleet roster is now exclusively Gillig BRT diesel buses. The numbering seems to circle between 51-59, although they currently operate just 7 buses.
