Okay over the past couple of days, after reading this article, many site visitors were under the impression that the site was closing. I’m just here to say that is not the case. Virtual Transportation Center will be here for years to come. The only part of this website that will be closing will be the forums, which have already been moved to a sub-folder of the site.
The reason why people got confused is that they only read the headline and not the whole article. The article went into great detail explaining that the site will stay around and the forums are being replaced with something else. So if people read the article, they wouldn’t have been confused. That said, if you read to this point in the article, go back to whatever source you found this from (be it Facebook, Discord, or Twitter) and just comment saying that “DashTransit confirmed that the whole site is closing” under the original post. Don’t explain yourself afterward. I just want to see how many people actually read up to this point.
