SEPTA Route 76 Routing

SEPTA Route 76 primiarly operates on Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia. In North Philadelphia service operates on Frankford Avenue through Fishtown, over to Somerset/Cambria Streets to serve Somerset Station and connect with L1 service, then via F/G Streets through Juniata Park, diverting over to Whitaker Street, to Adams Avenue, then Tabor Road to Olney Avenue, then finally terminating at Rising Sun-Olney Loop.

Route 76 History
Current SEPTA Route 76 Started August 23rd 2026 as part of SEPTA’s New Bus Network. This route replaced parts of former route 89, and current route 25.
Other Routes using the same numbers
Historically, a route numbered 76 replaced the Mid-City Loop service. That was replaced by Center City Shopping Spree service and again discontinued. There was also another route 76 which operated from Darby to Chester. This was merged into modern route 113.
