SEPTA bus route 50 operates from Frankford Transit Center to Parx Casino with limited service via Roosevelt Boulevard, and local service via Holme Avenue, Cardinal Health, and Franklin Mall. Bus service on SEPTA route 50 is provided by Comly (District 1) Depot.
SEPTA bus route 150 operates from Plymouth Meeting Mall to Parx Casino express via the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Service on SEPTA route 150 is provided by Frontier (District 6) Depot.

SEPTA Route 50 and Route 150 History
SEPTA’s modern routes 50 and 150 were established on February 11th 2007, both of which provided new service to Parx Casino.
- Route 50 would provide service between Frankford Transit Center and Parx Casino via Roosevelt Boulevard, Ashton Road, Cardinal Health, Franklin Mall, and Knights Road.
- Route 150 would provide service between Plymouth Meeting Mall and Parx Casino via the Pennsylvania Turnpike
These routes would come along side re-routes of routes 1, 127, and 130 which rould also serve Parx Casino on the same date. SEPTA route 20 would also get a night time extension to Parx Casino on the same date.
Current routes 50 and 150 have not gone through any changes since they were created, but both routes are set to be discontinued as part of SEPTA New Bus Network on in different phases (see new bus network changes below)
Other Routes using the same numbers
The number 50 was assigned to a bus service from Rising Sun Av to South Philadelphia. This route 50 was discontinued and merged with route 57 on May 16th 1993.
The number 150 was originally assigned to bus service between Oxford Valley Mall and Trenton. This service was re-designated route 127 on November 14th 1983.
New Bus Network Changes
SEPTA route 50 is to be discontinued at a future date. Route 20 will take over route 50‘s routing through Holme Circle, and new route 85 will operate via Cardinal Health. Alternate service on Roosevelt Boulevard is already provided by routes 14, 20, and Boulevard Direct. The date for the service changes was not given as of yet.
SEPTA bus route 150 is to be discontinued in February 2027 as part of SEPTA’s New Bus Network Phase 2.
