SEPTA Route 310 Routing
SEPTA Route 310 operates a clockwise loop through the Horsham Business District, diverting over to serve the Willow Grove UPS Hub, then back to Willow Grove Park Mall. Until August 2025, route 310 also served Willow Grove Station during rush hours and Saturdays.
Key Transfer Points on Route 310
Route 310 shares Moreland Road with Route 95 between Willow Grove Park Mall and Fitzwatertown Road. The only other transfer point on route 310 is….
- Willow Grove Park Mall for routes 22, 55, 95, and 310
Route 210 History
Route 210 started on May 17th, 1990, which at this point would be the fourth “200 series” route created by SEPTA. Route 210 operated between Willow Grove Station and the Horsham Business district, coordinating with the R2 Warminster Line at Willow Grove Station. The routing would follow Moreland Road/Welsh Road to Blair Mill Road, then doing a counter-clockwise loop via Blair Mill, Commerce/Witmer Road, Dresher Road, back to Welsh Road, terminating at Prudential Office Campus.
At conception, Route 210 would operate in both directions between 6AM and 6PM, however in 1994, Service would be greatly reduced to only outbound service during the AM rush, and Inbound service during the PM rush. Buses would also operate VIA Prudential Office Center instead of terminating there, as they would now terminate at Horsham Business Center.
The route 210 designator would last be used in 1996, as route 210 became route 310 as part of Montgomery County’s revitalization of transit commutes.
Route 310 Horsham Breeze History

Route 210 was re-designated route 310 on November 11th 1996, following a larger project from Montgomery County to improve and revitalize transit commutes. Route 310 would also come with the branding “Horsham Breeze” with then-new route 311 being labeled “Commonwealth Breeze.”
At this time, route 310 would also be re-assigned to Germantown Depot (Trenton-Philadelphia Coach Contractor) and use smaller buses.
The routing of route 310 would originally start off being very similar to route 210, but would terminate at Willow Grove Park Mall, coordinating with routes 22/55 at Willow Grove Park Mall, instead of the R2 Warminster Line. Service to Willow Grove Station would at this point be discontinued. Bus-to-rail service to Horsham would be re-directed to route 201, which would be extended from Fort Washington Office Center to Horsham Business Center via Dreshertown Road and do a similar loop to the 310 starting May 12th 1997.
Service on 310 would be funded by Montgomery County, Prudential Office Campus, and UPS, which also made it possible to restore the schedule to its original 1990 form with all-day service as well as add additional Saturday service.
Service on route 310 would be supplimented by an peak hour limited stop route from Olney Transit Center labeled route 80 starting February 7th 2000.
In February 2001, Route 310 would have two AM peak hour trips start at Willow Grove Station, and two PM peak hour trips terminate at Willow Grove Station. With the bus-to-rail connection restored, route 201 would be removed from Horsham, going back to terminating at Fort Washington Office Center (where it still operates).
As part of the “more buses more often” campaign in 2008, additional service to Willow Grove Station was added during the weekdays, as well as all Saturday trips serving Willow Grove Station. Route 310 would stay largely the same (with a few tweaks here and there to specific office centers) until 2017.
Route 310 Breeze Red and Route 311 Breeze Blue
On February 27th 2017, SEPTA would split up operations of route 310, creating the “red and blue” Horsham Breeze routes in an effort to address the rising ridership of the line. Route 310, Horsham Breeze Red would serve UPS, RTIS, and Horsham Business Center, while Route 311, Horsham Breeze Blue, would serve Rock Road Office Complex, Toll Brothers, and Pearson Professional Center.
Service to Willow Grove Station on the Warminster Line would be greatly reduced. One AM peak hour outbound trip and one PM peak hour inbound trip would serve Willow Grove Station on each variant on weekdays, and Saturday service would only serve Willow Grove Station between 8am and 5pm.
Route 311 Horsham Breeze Blue would be re-routed in August 2023 to serve Willow Grove Point in both directions.
Back to Route 310 Horsham Loop
Horsham Breeze Red and Blue service would be discontinued on August 25th 2025 as part of the New Bus Network, and the respective services were merged back into Route 310, and called the Horsham Loop. As part of this change, all service to Willow Grove Station was discontinued, and the routing is back to its original route from 1996.
Route 311 Commonwealth Breeze
Route 311 Commonwealth Breeze was created on November 11th 1996, following a larger project from Montgomery County to improve and revitalize transit commutes. Similar to route 310, route 311 would come with the branding “Commonwealth Breeze,” named as such due to it terminating at Commonwealth Corporate Center in Horsham. This route would also terminate at Willow Grove Park mall, coordinating with routes 22 and 55.
Trips outbound from Willow Grove Park Mall would operate the AM rush hours, while inbound trips would operate during the PM rush hours.
On September 3rd 2001, additonal express service would be created being inbound to Willow Grove during the AM rush hours, and outbound to Commonwealth Corporate Center during the PM rush hours
Service on the route 311 Commonwealth Breeze would ultimately be discontinued on September 7th 2004, with no direct replacement.
Other Routes using the same numbers
There were no other routes using the route numbers 210 or 310, but route number 311 was used twice. Once from 1996 to 2004 as the Commonwealth Breeze, and once from 2017 to 2025 as the Horsham Breeze Blue.
New Bus Network Changes
The 310 and 311 Horsham Breeze routes were merged back into one singular route on August 25th 2025. Service to Willow Grove Station was also removed during this time.

Audio Announcements
SEPTA Route 210 never had audio announcements, however routes 310 and 311 did. The exterior announcements never specifically referred to the route number, but rather the Breeze names.
