Quote from: openbve092 on April 14, 2019, 05:01:45 pmHi there everyone!

I'm having some major troubles putting in the scripts in the XD40 / LFS series. I already got it working using the directions above on the orion v, so there is that. Could anyone help out please? Been trying pretty much everything, even the ditto script doesn't work and I have the sound file in the respective sound folder.

Thanks in advance.

So when I did the whole thing, I couldn't figure out why the bus wasn't retrieving the files. Be sure your .hof file is set to have global strings, especially if you're using an older hof file.

Hmm...

If the dev hasn't posted stuff because he's busy with IRL, do you think things are going to change by asking?

Just food for thought.

FAQ:
* Why is the texture transparent!?
This is necessary for PNG files to show up on the D40LF.

* How do I install?
See above.

* Why doesn't this show up in game?
You failed to copy the text into the cti file. CTI files can be opened and modified using notepad.

That watermark is certified PITA material, but I'm uploading anyways:

Vehicle Modifications / Re: New Flyer Powertrain Mod

Quote from: Dash5155 on February 19, 2019, 08:58:05 pmAs of now that is a separate mod. It may be included in future versions of the powertrain mod but no promises. It was exclusively released on a Facebook group that is now archived, so I wouldn't be able to give you a link if I tried :x

It's also a very large file that's not browser friendly (mega and big downloads are like tupac and biggie)

General Support / Destination sign PR codes
February 20, 2019, 10:09:02 pm
I've noticed that a lot more of OMSi videos are featuring buses that utilize PR/Info codes that display after the sign. Is there a method to modifying the destination signs to do this? Not sure if I have to go into the .hof file and modify or is there something else I have to create in order to get this to work?

MRW numbers are not necessary for mods. I've never made a sound mod that needed numbers

Trying a simple and complex design. Maybe it's time for Cayuga to go back to its origins?

Quote from: The Lycanroc Gamer on January 05, 2019, 05:52:27 pmHey Dash: There's a bug with the D60LF DD50-Allison:

It won't start, and when it's spawned into the game, it makes a beeping noise, like it's stuck in reverse; it also won't start up.
Noted.

Just tested ingame, there's no issues. Check your install and your logfile.

General Support / D40LF blinker
December 30, 2018, 09:40:32 pm
I remember a post (not sure if it was here or on the old board) that explained how to use the "blinker-old.wav" file in a way that would emulate the real life timing of the original. Anyone know how to get this to work (what is the setup to prevent improper looping) in the sound config files?
