Welcome to Aberdeen!
Aberdeen is a fictional North American OMSI 2 Map based on the Pacific Northwest. It is ambiguously both an American and Canadian map, as our development team comprises of members from both sides of the border. In this map, you will take to the busy streets of Downtown Aberdeen, keeping to tight and frequent schedules through all hours of the day. In total, the Aberdeen Motorbus (AMB) operates over 20 lines out of the Victoria (Uptown) Garage.
This map draws heavy inspiration from the route networks of Vancouver, Canada, as well as Seattle, Washington. Many points of interest may become familiar to their real life counterparts if you know where to look!
A brief overview of features that you will experience in Aberdeen:
- 4 fully drivable city lines in the heart of Downtown Aberdeen.
- 14 AI routes to replicate an authentic downtown experience.
- 4 fully detailed bus terminals to serve as major interchange hubs across the city.
- 17 fully custom intersections based on real life counterparts.
- A "bus only" avenue through the heart of downtown providing reliable transit connections.
- A fully furnished bus depot, complete with maintenance depot, bus wash, and offices.
- Many points of interests throughout the lively downtown core, enhancing authenticity and realism.
- Customizable option for road signs to appear in metric or imperial units.
- Priority HOV lanes for buses at specific times of the day.
- 7 Included AI Lists with a range of different bus fleets to best suit your style.
- Custom repaints for more than 20 buses, both American and European manufacturers (see below for details).
