The Liberty Map for OMSI 2 takes the glory of being the first map to capture a network of NYC routes. The vast majority of 0.2.3 takes place in lower Manhattan (Mediaboro), Brooklyn (Brook) and Long Island City, Queens (Easton). To keep things compatible with OMSI, this map takes place in a ficticious setting, however bus depot assignments and most streets ingame are actually based on real life locations.

This map contains 3 cities and 4 towns. The main city, known as Grundelphia, is loosely based on Philadelphia, PA while being built off of the original Grundorf map. The second city (Water Harbor) is based on Jersey City with hints of Camden (both in New Jersey), and finally, the 3rd City (Sanyo County) is just completely made up.
